I thought this thread could be used for members of the D.O.C. to mention and share some of the albums they believe are dope and majorly slept on. It gives us all a chance to broaden our hip hop horizons and maybe discover some music which we may have not come across otherwise. I'll start: CunninLynguists - Dirty Acres One of my favorite albums of '07. The main reason I'm really feeling this album is because of the production. It's fairly mellow throughout and it's a good album to just sit back and relax to. How bout Blue Collar by Rhymefest. Shit was hot....but I lost the cd so I can't post it. Actually wouldn't mind having it if anyone can post it.....It only sold around 7500 first week, which didn't do it justice

I've flicked through the Rhymefest album briefly and it seems pretty good. I've still got to give it a proper listen though before I pass judgement. By the way, is Statik Selektah (I spelt his name right  ) a producer or what? I've heard his name on a few Termanology tracks before but didn't know who he really was. I've got a couple more suggestions: The Foreign Exchange - Connected When I listen to this album I feel like I'm in Antartica because it is sooo chilled out (I come with sicker similes than Crooked). The group consists of Phonte (of Little Brother) and Nicolay (a dutch producer). They recorded the whole album without meeting each other and doing it through message boards, e-mails etc. A really dope album to put on if you just wanna chill out. If you like sample driven production you'll definitely feel this album (9th Wonder produced it from top to bottom). This could be a downside to some though as the tracks on the album do sound very similar throughout on the first couple of listens. Either way, it's worth checking out.
