I downloaded that "Devante - The Foundation" album and it was really dope. Major props for that one Novakane, no way I would've come across it otherwise.  Cheesy

Damn, I feel bad for the dude. I was just looking to purchase this CD but I couldn't find it anywhere...I guess this is the reason why. The fact that he produced the whole album as well is amazing and it's a real shame that his talent won't be heard anymore. I remember thinking earlier in the day that he must have a new album coming soon because this was released in 2007 so I was all hyped, but now I just feel crushed... Cry Cry Cry

All this R&B gets me emotional  Wink

ALBUM COMING SOON
It's been far too long.

I have been in the studio all week working on a very special project. I'll say a couple of things about it:

1. Mostly slow jams and ballads. I'm going back to my roots. Think "Ready or Not," and "The Foundation"

2. It sounds amazing.

3. It sounds amazing.

No, but seriously.... get ready for a very special, classic album. I've been working for at least 12 hours a day preparing everything. You'll love this one.

^ I gotta co-sign this co-sign again. I've bumped that album so many times now and it's easily my favorite R&B album. It's great news to hear that a new album is coming soon as well and if it's as good as "The Foundation" then I'm definitely copping it first week. The fact that he does literally everything in each stage of his music still truly amazes me and I wish dude the highest success.

Yea, I'm really feeling Unspoken and Slow off of that tape. DV's own production on this project easily outshines other people's beats he's chosen for this mixtape. It makes me wonder what he's saving for the new album - can't wait.  Smiley
